Reporting To: Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure smooth production planning and uninterrupted manufacturing operations by preparing production plans, monitoring material availability, maintaining optimum inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials, and coordinating with production, stores, procurement, and dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for all production machines based on customer demand and production capacity.
- Monitor machine-wise production schedules and ensure adherence to the production plan.
- Maintain minimum stock levels of all critical raw materials and packaging materials to avoid production interruptions.
- Monitor and control inventory of:
- Raw Materials (RM)
- Masterbatch
- LDPE Liner Bags
- Corrugated Boxes
- BOPP Tapes
- Other packaging and consumable materials
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with the Stores team to ensure material availability before production planning.
- Track daily production against the plan and identify deviations.
- Prepare daily production reports, inventory reports, and material requirement reports.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels to minimize stock shortages as well as excess inventory.
- Follow up with production departments to achieve planned production targets.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth production flow.
- Support monthly production planning, forecasting, and capacity utilization activities.
- Ensure timely availability of packaging materials for finished goods dispatch.
- Maintain planning records, MIS reports, and production planning documentation.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Or MBA- Operations / Supply chain
Experience:
- 1-4 years of experience in Production Planning, PPC, or Manufacturing Planning.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Inventory planning and stock management.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
