Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jr. Interior Designer to support the design and execution of commercial interior projects. The candidate will work closely with senior designers, architects, consultants, and site teams to develop design concepts, prepare drawings, coordinate materials, and ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations for commercial projects.
- Prepare 2D drawings, detailed working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, and sections.
- Assist in preparing 3D views, mood boards, material boards, and design presentations.
- Coordinate with senior designers, architects, MEP consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits and assist with site measurements and documentation.
- Review drawings and site conditions to identify design or execution issues.
- Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.
- Prepare material specifications, schedules, and basic BOQs as required.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for design-related requirements.
- Assist in monitoring the quality and execution of interior works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, and design records.
- Support the senior design team in meeting project timelines and deliverables.
- Stay updated on current commercial interior design trends, materials, and industry practices.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of commercial interior design and space planning.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic understanding of 2D working drawings.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, or other design software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction details.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work within deadlines and coordinate multiple project requirements.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with internship or 1–3 years of experience in commercial interior projects will be preferred. Candidates should have a portfolio demonstrating their design, drafting, visualization, or project-related work.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.97 per month
