Summary:
UST is looking for a SAP Global COUPA Functional Lead with 6–8 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting the Coupa Business Spend Management (BSM) platform integrated with SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in procurement, invoicing, supply chain management, spend management, and payment processing, along with experience in enterprise integrations and stakeholder management.
The Opportunity:
As a SAP Global COUPA Functional Lead, you will lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of the global COUPA platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP, integration, and technical teams to deliver scalable business solutions that improve procurement, finance, and supply chain operations while driving platform innovation and operational excellence.
- Lead the design and implementation of new COUPA platform capabilities and major functional enhancements.
- Configure, administer, and optimize the COUPA Business Spend Management platform.
- Build expertise across the COUPA application suite and leverage best practices to design scalable business solutions.
- Collaborate with SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft, and integration teams to define end-to-end business processes and system integrations.
- Manage procurement, sourcing, invoicing, payment processing, and expense management workflows.
- Validate functional designs, testing strategies, documentation, and deployment activities.
- Participate in defect analysis, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Own prioritization, planning, tracking, and reporting of Finance and Procurement initiatives.
- Develop reports and analytics to improve procurement efficiency and spend visibility.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support API integrations and enterprise data flows across ERP and business applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote COUPA platform best practices.
What you need:
- 6–8 years of experience as a COUPA Functional Consultant or Functional Lead.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring and administering the COUPA platform.
- Deep understanding of Business Spend Management (BSM), Procurement, Sourcing, Invoice Processing, Expense Management, and Payment Processing.
- Experience integrating COUPA with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP platforms.
- Good understanding of SAP financial tables, procurement processes, and finance integration.
- Experience with analytics, reporting, and spend analysis using COUPA and SAP platforms.
- Knowledge of API integration concepts (REST/GraphQL) and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Exposure to Python scripting for automation is an added advantage.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams and offshore delivery models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
