About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, empathetic, and goal-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a student-first approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, admissions, career opportunities, and course offerings.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses based on their educational background and career aspirations.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, and walk-in inquiries.
- Follow up with prospective students to guide them through the admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and update CRM systems regularly.
- Meet individual and team admission targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions, academic, and operations teams to ensure a seamless enrollment experience.
- Conduct career guidance sessions, webinars, seminars, and educational events when required.
- Resolve student queries professionally and provide timely support.
- Stay updated on course details, admission policies, industry trends, and educational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields preferred).
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
