Job Title: MIG Welder (Metal Inert Gas Welder)
Job Summary:
A MIG Welder operates MIG welding equipment to join, fabricate, and repair metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. MIG welding is widely used in manufacturing, construction, automotive, and fabrication industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Set up and adjust welding machines and equipment.
- Fit, align, and assemble metal parts before welding.
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
- Use grinders and other tools to clean and finish welds.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Maintain welding equipment and work area.
Required Skills
- MIG welding proficiency.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards.
- Measuring and fabrication skills.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working in industrial environments.
Qualifications
- High School/Diploma/ITI in Welding or related trade.
- Welding certification (preferred).
- Fresher and Experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication.
