About the Role
Arteva Consulting is seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate should possess strong observation skills, a disciplined approach, and the ability to respond effectively to security-related situations.
Key Responsibilities Security & Access Control
- Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.
- Verify visitor credentials and maintain visitor logs.
- Conduct security checks at gates, reception areas, and designated entry points.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Surveillance & Patrolling
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify and address security risks.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems.
- Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches immediately.
Incident Management
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, and security incidents.
- Assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies.
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required.
Record Keeping
- Maintain daily occurrence reports and security logs.
- Record visitor movements, vehicle entries, and incident details.
- Submit reports to the Administration Manager or Security Supervisor.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company security policies and procedures.
- Support workplace safety initiatives and emergency preparedness activities.
- Assist in protecting company assets and confidential information.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th or 12th pass.
- Security training certification is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
Skills Required
- Strong observation and vigilance skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Integrity, discipline, and reliability.
- Basic report-writing skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina for patrolling duties.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in security services, corporate offices, commercial establishments, hospitality, or related sectors preferred.
- Army retired background would be prefered
- Freshers with relevant training may also apply.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including day and night shifts.
- Weekend and holiday duties as per operational requirements.
- Indoor and outdoor security assignments.
