About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient Assistant Manager – IT to oversee the organisation's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, employee IT onboarding, website management, and day-to-day technology operations. The ideal candidate will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all IT-related matters, ensuring secure, efficient, and uninterrupted technology support across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for all IT infrastructure and technology-related requirements.
- Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including:
- Email ID creation and management.
- User account provisioning and access control.
- Laptop/desktop configuration and software installation.
- System setup and troubleshooting for new employees.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices to protect organisational systems, data, and networks.
- Monitor endpoint security, antivirus solutions, firewalls, email security, and access management.
- Ensure timely software updates, security patches, and system maintenance.
- Coordinate website development, maintenance, content updates, and performance optimisation with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Work closely with business teams to design, improve, and maintain professional, user-friendly, and responsive company websites.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues across the organisation.
- Manage Microsoft 365/Google Workspace administration, email configurations, and collaboration tools.
- Maintain IT assets, software licenses, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for procurement, AMC, internet services, cloud solutions, and IT support.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, security policies, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Ensure data backup, recovery processes, and business continuity measures are regularly tested and maintained.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and information security.
- Provide timely technical support to employees and ensure minimal downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Administration, System Administration, or IT Infrastructure Management.
- Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT security best practices.
- Experience with user account management, email administration, and Active Directory/Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience in employee system configuration and IT onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi management.
- Experience in website management, domain hosting, SSL certificates, and coordination with web developers.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and collaboration tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with endpoint management and cybersecurity monitoring tools.
- Understanding of IT compliance, data privacy, and information security standards.
- Basic knowledge of automation, scripting, or workflow optimisation is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
