The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all electrical systems and maintenance activities within the cinema theatre. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, safety compliance, preventive maintenance, and smooth operation of theatre equipment, lighting, HVAC systems, and electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and lighting.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of theatre electrical equipment.
- Monitor power consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and arrange timely repairs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance work.
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and equipment records.
- Support cinema operations during movie screenings and special events.
- Train and guide electricians and maintenance staff.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in cinemas, malls, hotels, or commercial buildings.
- Knowledge of LT panels, DG sets, UPS, HVAC systems, and electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to lead a team and handle emergency breakdowns.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
