Job Description & Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Load and unload heavy fabric rolls, yarn, and accessories onto trucks or pallets and transport them to the designated workstations.
Machine Assistance: Assist technicians and operators in threading looms, clearing material jams, and running cutting or processing machinery safely.
Quality Control Support: Perform basic checks on fabrics (e.g., checking for tears, stains, or color discrepancies) and immediately report defects to the supervisor.
Packaging and Dispatch: Fold, tag, label, and pack finished fabric pieces or garments into cartons for shipping.
Housekeeping and Safety: Keep the work area clean, dispose of waste threads and scraps safely, and follow all factory safety guidelines.
Skills & Requirements:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move heavy textile goods (typically 10-25 kg) without difficulty.
- Instruction Adherence: Must be punctual, honest, and able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic Technical Aptitude: A willingness to learn about fabric types (woven, knitted) and basic textile processing.
Educational Qualification: Minimum HSC.
