Key Responsibilities
Strategic PR & Marketing Planning
- Develop comprehensive PR and marketing strategies aligned with client goals.
- Conduct business research, competitive analysis, and SWOT assessments.
- Plan campaign roadmaps, editorial calendars, and presentation decks.
Public Relations Activities
- Draft compelling press releases and media communication.
- Pitch story ideas to journalists, media houses, and digital platforms.
- Secure media coverage, interviews, and brand features.
- Identify and pursue awards, recognitions, and public speaking opportunities for clients.
Marketing & Digital Support
- Support social media marketing and content strategy initiatives.
- Contribute to search engine marketing and campaign amplification.
- Develop engaging content aligned with brand positioning.
- Manage online communities and audience engagement.
Event & Campaign Coordination
- Assist in planning and executing PR events and brand campaigns.
- Coordinate internally and externally to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
- Support additional marketing and PR-related activities as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in PR, marketing, or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Pre-existing media relationships (preferred but not mandatory).
- Functional smartphone and personal laptop (preferred).
- Comfortable working in a collaborative open office environment.
Skills Needed
- Strong and versatile writing ability (long-form plans, blogs, and short-form social content).
- High level of grammar accuracy and content clarity.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to lead discussions, direct meetings, and create strategic pathways.
- Strong organisational and multitasking capability.
- Confidence in working on desktops/laptops and digital tools.
