We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tourism Promotion Executive to promote travel services, handle client interactions, and support the sales process. This role requires strong communication, consistency in follow-ups, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote tour packages through digital platforms (WhatsApp & email, etc.)
- Actively respond to customer inquiries and provide travel information
- Generate and qualify leads, ensuring proper follow-up and conversion tracking
- Share quotations, itineraries, and travel details clearly and professionally
- Coordinate with internal teams for bookings, availability, and confirmations
- Maintain updated records of leads, inquiries, and customer interactions
- Ensure timely follow-ups with prospective clients until closure
- Handle basic objections and guide customers toward suitable travel options
- Stay updated with current travel trends, destinations, and offers
- Maintain professionalism and customer satisfaction at all stages
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory)
- Ability to handle customers politely and confidently
- Basic understanding of travel/tourism industry (preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, email communication, and social media usage
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/Word for tracking and reporting)
- Own laptop and reliable internet connection
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer conversations
- Self-discipline to work independently in a remote setup
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative
