We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Consultant to join our growing team, with a focus on technical and commercial due diligence in the energy sector . This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure asset classes, including energy , transport and social infrastructure, across high-profile investment transactions and strategic advisory mandates, w hile playing a key role in high-profile transactions and strategic advisory mandates.
- Supporting the delivery of technical and commercial due diligence assignments for investors, lenders, and developers in the energy sector (including LNG, pipelines, renewables, CCUS, hydrogen, and emerging technologies).
- Providing support in developing technical and commercial input into bids and pursuits, preparing competitive proposals through robust asset and demand insights to strengthen proposals.
- Supporting cross-sector advisory projects across transport and wider infrastructure, applying your analytical and commercial expertise.
- Working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with technical specialists across WSP’s global network.
- Engaging directly with clients, providing strategic insights and presenting findings that influence investment decisions.
- Contributing to business development, thought leadership, and the continued growth of our advisory offering.
- Participating in international engagements, including site visits and stakeholder meetings where required.
OUR TEAM
The Investment and Transaction Advisory team has a strong track record of supporting clients at the early stage of projects such as feasibility plans, market forecasts as well as technical assessment of complex projects. As part of the GCC delivery team, the role supports opportunities and projects across Europe, Asia and North America. Our key clients cover a wide range of different organisations in the private and public sectors. Key clients include financial institutions (pension funds, investors and financiers), operators (utilities, ports, rail and mobility) and wider industry.
We are expanding from a strong transport base into new sectors, including industrial clients, major government programmes (e.g. Port Infrastructure Fund, UK Freeports), mobility, and energy infrastructure. WSP has a global network of over 10,500 advisory professionals and 80,000 employees across technical, sustainability and advisory disciplines, enabling our front-end consultancy to draw on deep expertise across t ransaction advisory (including PPP), investment advisory, market studies, demand forecasting, feasibility studies, and management consultancy.
