We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales & Service Engineer to promote, sell, and provide after-sales support for Backhoe Loaders, Compactors, and Diesel Generator (DG) sets. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and power solutions, excellent customer relationship skills, and the ability to identify business opportunities while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales
- Identify and develop new customers in construction, infrastructure, industrial, mining, government, and rental sectors.
- Promote and sell Backhoe Loaders, Compactors, and Diesel Generator sets.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features and benefits to customers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports.
Service & After-Sales Support
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and handover of equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues at customer sites.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely service support.
- Coordinate warranty claims and service documentation.
- Recommend spare parts, maintenance contracts, and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure prompt response to customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers through regular visits and follow-ups.
- Provide technical guidance and training on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal sales, service, and spare parts teams for seamless customer support.
Qualifications
- SSLC, HSC or Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in sales and/or service of construction equipment, heavy machinery, diesel generators, or industrial equipment.
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and diesel generators.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.
- Valid driving license preferred.

Preferred Experience
Experience with brands such as JCB, CASE, CAT, Volvo CE, Komatsu, ACE, Mahindra Construction Equipment, Escorts Kubota, Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra Powerol, Caterpillar, or similar construction and power equipment manufacturers is an advantage.
