Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, self-reliant Operations Manager to lead our agro-product export division. As a "one-man army," you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of export cycles—from sourcing and quality checks to final international delivery. This is a role for a dedicated professional looking for a long-term home in a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Export Execution: Manage the complete Export-Import (EXIM) workflow, including documentation (Shipping Bills, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.).
- Logistics & Customs: Liaise with CHAs (Custom House Agents), freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely movement of agro-commodities.
- Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for international buyers, ensuring professional correspondence and relationship management.
- Quality & Sourcing: Oversee the procurement of agro products from Indian markets/mandis, ensuring they meet international export standards.
- Problem Solving: Rapidly resolve any operational bottlenecks, whether in the warehouse, at the port, or during transit.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- EXIM Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Indian export-import regulations, Incoterms, and payment terms (L/C, Advance, etc.).
- Master Communicator: Fluent in English (written and verbal) to negotiate with global clients and Hindi/Local languages to manage domestic suppliers.
- The "One-Man Army" Mindset: A proactive individual who doesn't wait for instructions and can manage multiple tasks without a large support team.
- Resilience: High capacity for hard work; the agro-export industry often involves tight deadlines and seasonal pressures.
