About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, AWS (especially AWS Lambda), APIs, RDS, and database management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Work with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, and RDS.
- Design, optimize, and manage relational databases using Amazon RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI (Django is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.
- Good understanding of AWS services:
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- RDS
- Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon RDS and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Excellent SQL query writing and database optimization skills.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Good with English communication
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
- Experience working on cloud-native applications using AWS.
- Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and database-driven applications.
