Qualification:
Diploma in Civil Engineering / B.Tech (Civil Engineering)
Additional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 4–8 years of experience in construction procurement and purchase management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procure construction materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements.
* Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for the best pricing and quality.
* Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with site engineers and project managers.
* Compare quotations, conduct rate analysis, and finalize vendor selection.
* Monitor material consumption and prevent shortages at project sites.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
* Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets.
* Prepare purchase reports, cost-saving analyses, and vendor performance evaluations.
* Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
Required Skills:
* Strong knowledge of construction materials and market rates.
* Vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and procurement procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office
* Good communication and team management skills.
* Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Candidate:
* Candidate with experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects.
* Strong understanding of civil construction materials, procurement planning, and cost control.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
