We are looking for a creative and passionate Fashion Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in fashion design along with a good understanding of graphic designing to create apparel graphics, prints, branding elements, and merchandise that align with FITISTAN's vision. The role requires knowledge of garment construction, CAD tools, apparel graphics, merchandising, and close collaboration with the branding, marketing, and events teams.
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Graphic Designer who is passionate about apparel graphics, storytelling through design, and trend-driven fashion. The ideal candidate should have strong graphic design skills, a good understanding of garment construction and print techniques, and the ability to create original artwork for apparel and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Design graphics, prints, and artwork for T-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, caps, bags, and other merchandise.
- Develop seasonal collections based on themes, trends, and brand identity.
- Create placement prints, all-over prints, typography, badges, patches, and branding elements.
- Prepare production-ready files with accurate color specifications and print dimensions.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and print quality.
- Research fashion trends, graphics, color palettes, and market insights.
- Create mockups and presentation sheets for new collections.
- Ensure consistency across all products and marketing creatives.
- Work closely with the merchandising and marketing teams to meet project timelines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
- Knowledge of screen printing, sublimation, embroidery, DTF, heat transfer, and other garment decoration techniques.
- Ability to create original illustrations and graphic concepts.
- Good understanding of apparel sizing, placements, and print specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics and print designs.
- Experience in sportswear, athleisure, streetwear, or lifestyle brands.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools and current fashion trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
