· To develop relationships with patients and their family members to provide maximum personalized patient service.
· To attend telephone calls politely and strictly adhere to telephone manners.
· To answer various queries of the patient.
· To impart training to juniors / new in duties.
· To position the patient according to the surgery.
· To assist anesthetists and surgeon during surgery at the time of intubations, extubation, and to keep drugs for IV infusions and blood transfusions, and also to have knowledge to face any emergency situation.
· Administer treatments and medications
· Maintain complete and accurate patient records
· Don’t make noise in OT.
· Don’t argue in front of the patient.
· Coordinate with all department staff to complete the task.
· Prepare patients and assist with patient examinations and therapies
· Maintain list of all the departments in the hospital along with the list of telephone numbers in the hospital.
