Job Opening for Site Supervisor
Position Title: Site Supervisor
Department: Construction / Project Management
Desired Start Date: Immediate Joiners Preferred
Location: Mumbai [Maharashtra]: Thane.
Experience: 3-5 years in real estate/construction industry, with a proven track record of
managing residential projects.
Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, other or a related field.
We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team!
- Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day construction activities on the project site to ensure work is executed as per approved plans, schedules and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce strict adherence to Shraddha Landmark's quality and safety protocols.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all
- laborers and staff.
- Implement and document all safety measures and conduct weekly safety briefings.
- Supervise, instruct and motivate a team of laborers, subcontractors and junior staff.
- Monitor daily attendance and performance of the workforce.
- Resolve on-site conflicts and maintain a disciplined and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with the procurement team and suppliers to ensure timely and adequate delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of material received, consumed and rejected.
- Ensure proper storage and security of all materials and equipment on site.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, including labor reports, material consumption and project status updates, to the Project Manager.
- Maintain detailed site documentation, including project drawings, specifications and inspection records.
- Act as the primary point of contact between on-site teams and senior management, architects and engineers.
- Communicate project updates and challenges effectively to all stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials and building regulations in India.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with project management software (preferred).
