Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Delivery
▸ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, setting clear goals and fostering a culture
of quality ownership.
▸ Define QA strategy, test plans, and delivery timelines in alignment with project milestones.
▸ Conduct code and test reviews, ensuring standards are consistently upheld across the team.
▸ Track team velocity, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions proactively.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
▸ Serve as the primary QA point of contact in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming,
and release review meetings.
▸ Present QA metrics, risk assessments, and quality status reports to senior leadership and
business stakeholders.
▸ Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and Business Analysts to
define acceptance criteria and quality gates.
▸ Facilitate sign-off processes and manage escalations related to critical defects or quality risks.
Manual Testing
▸ Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing sessions
for web and mobile applications.
▸ Oversee end-to-end, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing cycles.
▸ Ensure thorough documentation of test artefacts, defect reports, and traceability matrices.
Test Automation
▸ Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for web
and mobile platforms.
– Web: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent
– Mobile: Appium, or equivalent
▸ Define automation strategy including tool selection, coverage targets, and CI/CD pipeline
integration.
▸ Review and approve automation scripts written by team members, ensuring maintainability
and reliability.
▸ Drive continuous improvement in automation coverage and execution efficiency.
Data Migration Testing
▸ Plan and execute data migration test strategies ensuring completeness, accuracy, and
integrity of migrated data.
▸ Validate data mapping, transformation rules, and reconciliation between source and target
systems.
▸ Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to define migration acceptance criteria
and sign-off processes.
▸ Identify and track data-related defects, managing resolution through to closure.
API Testing
▸ Lead API testing efforts for RESTful and SOAP services using tools such as Postman,
RestAssured, or Karate.
▸ Develop and maintain automated API test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
▸ Validate request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, error handling, and contract
compliance.
▸ Collaborate with backend teams to ensure comprehensive API coverage aligned with
business logic.

Communication & Leadership Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are central to this role. The QA Lead is expected to:
▸ Communicate quality risks and test progress clearly to both technical and non-technical
audiences.
▸ Facilitate and lead stakeholder meetings, demos, retrospectives, and QA review sessions with
confidence.
▸ Produce concise and insightful written reports including QA dashboards, release readiness
reports, and defect trend analyses.
▸ Negotiate timelines and scope with project managers and business owners, advocating for
quality without compromising delivery.
▸ Build strong cross-functional relationships, acting as a trusted partner to development,
product, and business teams.
▸ Coach and upskill team members through regular 1:1s, pair testing sessions, and knowledge-
sharing workshops.
▸ Drive a culture of shared ownership of quality across the entire delivery team — not just QA.
Experience & Education:
▸ 6–6 years of hands-on software testing experience, with at least 2 years in a lead QA role.
▸ Proven track record of delivering quality on complex web and mobile application projects.
▸ Demonstrated experience in data migration testing and API testing at scale.
▸ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating in cross-functional
delivery teams.
▸ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or
equivalent experience).
Pay: Up to ₹1,400,000.00 per year
