Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Windchill PLM Implementation Consultant with 10+ years of overall experience and at least 1–2 end-to-end PLM implementation projects in Windchill. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Windchill PLM solutions, implementation, customization, integration, and support activities. Candidates with Automotive industry experience will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end implementation of Windchill PLM solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into PLM functional and technical solutions.
- Configure and customize Windchill modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, Change Management, Workflow, and BOM Management.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain Windchill customizations using Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, and Windchill APIs.
- Perform Windchill system administration, deployment, upgrades, and migration activities.
- Integrate Windchill with ERP/CAD systems and other enterprise applications.
- Create technical design documents, user manuals, and implementation documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
- Ensure PLM best practices, standards, and governance are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in PTC Windchill PLM implementation and support.
- Minimum 1–2 complete end-to-end Windchill implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience in Windchill PDMLink, Change Management, Workflow, and BOM Management.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, XML, and Windchill APIs.
- Experience in Windchill customization, configuration, and integration.
- Knowledge of CAD integrations and ERP integrations.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and PLM processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Exposure to Windchill upgrades, migration, and cloud/on-prem deployment.
- Experience in ThingWorx or Creo integration is an added advantage.
