ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically curious Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for a 2026 M.Tech graduate looking to build a career in precision mechanical design, semiconductor equipment, and high-precision industrial machinery.
The selected candidate will work closely with experienced mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering teams and gain hands-on exposure to precision mechanical design, FEA, GD&T, mechanism development, engineering plastics, stress and tolerance analysis, and semiconductor equipment design.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to:

Assist senior engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment and industrial machinery.
●
Support the preparation and modification of mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications.
●
Assist in setting up technical standards.
●
Support preparation of mechanical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), test procedures, engineering documentation and engineering change management processes.
●
Assist with P&ID creation.
●
Assist in creating library parts for SolidWorks
●
Support engineers in identifying suitable mechanical components and alternatives for obsolete parts
●
Support troubleshooting of mechanical systems and help identify root causes of design issues
●
Follow company quality, safety, and engineering procedures
.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
●
Strong fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering.
●
Basic understanding of precision mechanical design, GD&T, and mechanism development.
●
Basic knowledge of engineering plastics and their applications.
●
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
●
Basic understanding of stress, thermal, tolerance, and vibration concepts
●
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
●
Strong interest in semiconductor equipment, industrial machinery, and precision manufacturing.
●
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
●
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
●
Willingness to learn new technologies and engineering practices.
●
Proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
PREFERRED / ADDED ADVANTAGE
●
Academic projects involving mechanical design, FEA, precision equipment, or industrial machinery with relevant practical exposure.
●
Exposure to SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar engineering software.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
●
M.Tech / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

●
Candidates with strong academic projects or practical exposure in mechanical design, precision manufacturing, or semiconductor equipment will be preferred.
