We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion for our Automotive and Inverter Battery product portfolio. The role involves managing channel partners, developing new markets, achieving revenue targets, and strengthening brand presence across the assigned territory.

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets for automotive and inverter batteries

Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, dealers, and retailers within the assigned area

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities

Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and availability in the market

Plan and implement promotional activities, dealer schemes, and trade marketing initiatives

Conduct regular market visits to support channel partners and resolve issues

Track sales performance, collections, and inventory levels across the region

Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and service teams for smooth operations

Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review

Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy credit control

Strong understanding of automotive and inverter battery markets

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Proven ability to manage distributor networks and achieve sales targets

Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability

Good analytical and reporting skills

Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the territory
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
MBA (Sales/Marketing) will be an added advantage
5–10 years (Automotive / Battery / Power Solutions industry preferred)
