The candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a passion for improving software quality.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and functional specifications
- Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, and functional testing
- Work closely with developers and project managers to resolve issues
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved
- Ensure software meets quality standards and client expectations
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality feedback
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication and documentation skills
