Key responsibilities
- Planning and strategy: Define event goals, develop themes, and create detailed timelines.
- Budget management: Prepare and manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and track expenses.
- Vendor and logistics coordination: Research and book vendors, secure venues, arrange for catering, entertainment, and equipment, and confirm final details like guest counts and floor plans.
- On-site execution: Oversee event setup, manage staff and volunteers, and ensure all activities run according to schedule.
- Guest and client management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and attendees, address any issues, and ensure a positive experience.
- Post-event tasks: Supervise teardown and cleanup, gather feedback, and prepare post-event reports.
- Administrative duties: Handle invoicing, payments, and maintain event records.
