Location: Bangalore (On-site)
Organisation: SPOT Microschool
At SPOT, we’re reimagining what school can look like.
We work with children who learn differently—including neurodivergent learners, homeschoolers, and those who thrive outside conventional classrooms. Our approach is rooted in curiosity, project-based learning, personalised education, and real-world experiences.
We’re looking for an exceptional educator who can both teach brilliantly and design outstanding learning experiences.
What you’ll do
* Design engaging, interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning (PBL) experiences.
* Build personalised learning pathways based on each child’s interests, strengths and goals.
* Create curriculum, unit plans, learning guides, assessment rubrics and documentation that other facilitators can confidently use.
* Facilitate meaningful learning experiences with children, both individually and in small groups.
* Develop frameworks that help us continuously improve and scale our learning model.
* Collaborate with our team to create joyful, future-ready educational experiences.
We’re looking for someone who
* Has strong classroom teaching experience.
* Has designed curriculum and learning experiences—not just delivered them.
* Understands personalised learning and inquiry-based education.
* Has experience with Project-Based Learning (PBL), experiential learning, or alternative education models.
* Is an excellent writer and can translate ideas into clear, practical learning documentation.
* Believes every child learns differently and is excited to build strengths-based learning experiences.
Bonus if you have experience with
* Neurodiversity-affirming education
* Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Forest Schools, High Tech High, IB or similar progressive education models
* Maker education, design thinking, entrepreneurship education or experiential learning
* IGCSE or NIOS curriculum planning
This is not a desk-based curriculum writing role.
You’ll spend time with children, observe how they learn, refine learning experiences, document what works, and help build a school where curiosity, creativity and purpose drive learning every day.
If you’re excited by the idea of building the future of education with a passionate team, we’d love to hear from you.
Send your CV, portfolio (if available), and a short note about why this role excites you to [email protected] (or DM us if you’d like to know more).
Please share this opportunity with educators who believe learning should be meaningful, joyful and deeply personal.
