Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and technically competent Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The candidate should have good knowledge of construction practices, drawings, measurements, quality control, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
- Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project schedule.
- Read and interpret civil/structural drawings and construction details.
- Prepare and maintain site measurements, quantity calculations, DPRs and progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and labour teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, machinery and overall site productivity.
- Check quality of materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and verify MB measurements, RA bills, quantity statements and material reconciliation.
- Assist in estimation, rate analysis and preparation of BOQs.
- Maintain proper site records, inspection reports and documentation.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely resolution.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out safely and according to approved procedures.
- Monitor project progress and report delays or technical issues to the Project Manager.
Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of RCC, foundations, structural works, masonry, plastering and concrete works.
- Understanding of civil and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, quantity surveying and rate analysis.
- Knowledge of DPR preparation and site documentation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SITR / Sitr-related project documentation and procedures will be preferred.
- Familiarity with government/infrastructure projects and departmental procedures will be an advantage.
Qualification
- ITI/ Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
Desired Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage labour and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently at construction sites.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Willingness to travel/stay at project locations as required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in government, infrastructure, water supply, building, RCC, pipeline, industrial or other civil construction projects will be preferred.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
