A product design engineer turns ideas into real, useful items by mixing art, science, and business. Their main tasks are creating computer models, testing test items (prototypes), and making sure goods are safe and cheap to build.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Design & Modeling: Build precise 2D blueprints and 3D models using CAD tools like SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
- Prototyping & Testing: Build sample models using 3D printing, CNC machining, or lab setups to test how products work.
- Manufacturing Optimization: Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) rules to ensure parts can be made easily and affordably.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work with production, quality control, and project managers to fix design flaws and meet safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills :-
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (injection molding, metal fabrication), and stress testing.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
