The one-liner
We shoot destination campaigns with creators and celebrities for tourism boards across the world. We need someone who can hold the camera, cut the edit, and make a 15-second reel that gets someone to book a flight. Based in Goa. Travelling often.

Creators who've shot with us say it "felt more like a vacation with friends than a shoot." You'll be the person behind the camera making that footage look as good as it felt.
What you'll actually do
Shoot everything, everywhere. Destination campaigns, creator FAM trips, celebrity shoots, BTS, brand films, quick-turn reels. One week it's sunrise at a beach in Goa, next month it's a tourism board shoot overseas. You're comfortable running a shoot solo AND slotting into a bigger crew.
Edit like the algorithm is watching. Because it is. You cut vertical-first: hooks in the first 2 seconds, pace that holds retention, sound design that isn't an afterthought. You can turn a day's footage into a reel the same night. Then also deliver the polished 60-second campaign cut a tourism board signs off on.
Own the gear and the workflow. Cameras, gimbals, drones, audio, lighting for run-and-gun setups. You manage your own kit, backups, media management, and file hygiene. Losing footage is the one unforgivable sin here.
Work with talent, not just tripods. Creators and celebrities are in front of your lens constantly. You know how to direct someone gently, catch candid moments without making it weird, and keep energy up on hour 9 of a shoot day.
Move at trend speed. A sound is blowing up? We're shooting the format tomorrow, edited by evening. You'll work directly with our social team to build content that rides trends while they're still alive.
Build the visual language. You're not executing someone else's shot list forever. Bring references, pitch formats, develop a look that makes Mélange content recognisable in half a scroll.
What you bring
- 2 to 4 years shooting and editing professionally: agency, production house, creator team, or a serious freelance run
- A reel that proves it (this matters more than your CV)
- Strong vertical/social editing: Premiere Pro or DaVinci, plus fast mobile workflows like CapCut when speed wins
- Solid camera fundamentals: exposure, movement, composition, natural light mastery (Goa gives you the best light in India, use it)
- On-location shoot experience: travel shoots, influencer trips, or outdoor productions where plans change hourly
- Drone skills or licence a big plus
- Based in Goa or ready to relocate (we're serious, this is not remote)
- A passport ready to travel and stamina for shoot days that start before sunrise

- You've shot for travel, hospitality, or tourism brands
- Your own page where you post your work
