We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Junior HR Executive with 6 months to 1 year of experience in HR operations. The candidate should have basic hands-on exposure to Recruitment, Employee Onboarding, Training & Development, Placement Coordination, Payroll Support, Attendance Management, Employee Engagement, and HR Documentation.
The ideal candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable coordinating with employees, candidates, management, and external stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
- Understand manpower requirements and prepare/post job openings.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, references, social media, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate discussions.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with respective managers.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Coordinate offer letters, joining formalities, and employee onboarding.
- Maintain employee records and required joining documentation.
Training & Development
- Coordinate internal employee training and development activities.
- Identify basic training requirements in coordination with department heads.
- Maintain training schedules, attendance, feedback, and records.
- Assist in organizing induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Track employee training completion and performance feedback.
Training & Placement Coordination
- Coordinate placement-related activities for students/trainees.
- Maintain student/candidate profiles and placement records.
- Connect and coordinate with companies regarding placement and recruitment opportunities.
- Schedule interviews and communicate interview details to candidates.
- Maintain placement trackers and follow up with candidates and companies.
- Assist candidates with interview preparation and basic placement guidance.
Payroll, Attendance & Leave Management
- Maintain monthly employee attendance and leave records.
- Verify attendance, late marks, absences, and approved leaves before payroll processing.
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll inputs.
- Maintain salary, incentive, deduction, and reimbursement records.
- Coordinate with management/accounts for payroll-related information.
- Assist employees with basic payroll and attendance queries.
HR Operations & Documentation
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR letters such as offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, relieving letters, etc.
- Maintain HR policies and ensure employees are informed about company procedures.
- Assist with employee confirmation, appraisal, resignation, exit, and full & final settlement processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Employee Engagement & Coordination
- Act as a point of coordination for routine employee HR queries.
- Assist in employee engagement activities, celebrations, meetings, and internal events.
- Coordinate with employees regarding attendance, documentation, training, and company policies.
- Support management in maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
Required Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant HR experience.
- Basic knowledge of Recruitment, Payroll, Attendance, Training & Placement, and HR Operations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and Email.
- Ability to maintain HR records and trackers accurately.
- Basic understanding of HR policies and employee lifecycle.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Good follow-up and time-management skills.
Educational Qualification
BBA / B.Com / B.A. / MBA / PGDM in HR or any relevant graduate/postgraduate qualification.
Candidates with practical HR experience will be preferred.
