Job Title – AM/Manager – Accounts & Finance

Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree or CA preferred/PG or MBA-Finance
Experience – 7 to 8yrs
Working days - Monday to Friday
Work timings - 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
Job Summary - This position plays a pivotal role in stabilizing and growing the MSME by ensuring financial discipline, statutory compliance, and actionable insights for business decisions
Key Responsibilities
· Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare accurate financial statements, cash flow reports, P&L, and balance sheets. Present monthly management information to ownership/leadership.
· Data Review: Reviewing Accounting & Financial Data on daily basis, ensuring proper corrections are done, ensuring proper accounting is done under proper accounting heads
· Books closure: Closing the books on monthly basis with proper reconciliations and closing entries
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and update operational budgets and forecasts; flag variances and support cost control efforts
· Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with Indian GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF/ESIC, and all statutory filings. Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed.
· Working Capital Management: Monitor accounts receivable/payable cycles. Optimize cash flow, plan for short-term liquidity, oversee bank transactions, and manage vendor/supplier payments within credit cycle norms.
· Cost Control: Identify, implement, and monitor cost-saving initiatives suitable for MSME operations without compromising growth.
· Finance Operations: Supervise and support a small accounting/finance team; handle payroll processing, inventory/fixed asset records, and coordinate basic HR activities if required.
· Financial Advice: Offer actionable insights to management on investment, expansion, funding, and profit maximization for long-term sustainability.
· Fund Management: Maintain healthy relationships with banks and NBFCs for cash credit, OD facilities, and project funding; support loan documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
· 7+ years of hands-on experience in accounting/finance
· Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, income tax, GST, and other regulations
· Proficiency in Tally, or similar accounting software and MS Excel for reporting.
· Strong communication, team management, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and in a small team setup.
