Job Summary
The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatments to restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, mobility, and overall well-being of patients. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Assess patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings.
- Administer physiotherapy interventions including exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, exercises, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and treatment documentation.
- Assist in post-operative rehabilitation and recovery programs.
- Provide physiotherapy services for inpatients and outpatients.
Patient Care & Safety
- Ensure patient safety during all physiotherapy procedures.
- Follow hospital infection control and safety protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in patient education and health promotion activities.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain physiotherapy equipment and report any malfunction or maintenance requirements.
- Prepare daily treatment records and departmental reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) / Master of Physiotherapy (MPT).
- Valid registration with the State Physiotherapy Council (if applicable).
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.

Working Hours
- As per hospital duty schedule.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
