About the Role
GrowQ is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loan Processing Analyst to manage and monitor the mortgage loan pipeline from submission through closing. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth file movement, coordinate with processors and lenders, track critical milestones, resolve escalations, and provide exceptional support throughout the loan process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall loan pipeline and ensure all files are progressing according to established timelines.
- Review loan files for completeness and request updated or missing documentation from clients before submission.
- Submit complete loan packages to lenders for underwriting and approval.
- Monitor rates lock timelines and ensure loans are appropriately locked or floated based on requirements.
- Track appraisal, title, insurance, and other third-party services to ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Hold processors accountable for meeting deadlines and maintaining file progress.
- Assist processors in resolving escalations, issues, and bottlenecks throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Provide regular status updates to clients and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Review underwriting conditions, identify potential issues, and proactively recommend solutions.
- Coordinate with Underwriters, Loan Officers, Processors, and other stakeholders to resolve file-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with lender and company guidelines.
- Communicate directly with processors and external partners to facilitate efficient loan processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in mortgage loan processing, loan coordination, or mortgage operations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mortgage lending processes and loan documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively during US business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with US mortgage processes and lenders.
- Familiarity with underwriting conditions, loan submissions, and pipeline management.
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a mortgage environment.
