Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & P&L Ownership
- Own the gross merchandise value (GMV), margin targets, and overall revenue growth for the Moving & Packing vertical.
- Track category KPIs weekly (e.g., booking conversion rates, fulfillment rates, average order value, customer retention) and implement growth strategies.
- Work closely with the marketing team to optimize lead generation, corporate partnerships, and seasonal promotions (e.g., peak moving months).
2. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
- Scout, vet, onboard, and manage a high-performing network of local moving companies, truck owners, and packing crews across the UAE.
- Handle contract management, including negotiating commercial terms, commission structures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with logistics partners.
- Build a scalable onboarding and training process to ensure third-party vendors adhere to Ezsheikh's strict quality standards.
3. Operational Excellence & Quality Control
- Monitor remote daily operations, dispatch efficiency, and handling procedures to minimize booking cancellations or delays.
- Set up standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling high-value items, damage claims, and customer disputes.
- Analyze customer feedback and ratings to continuously off-board underperforming vendors and reward top-tier partners.
Required Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of operational or category management experience, ideally within an on-demand marketplace, hyperlocal delivery, logistics, or relocation platform (e.g., Porter, Urban Company, DHL, or similar setups).
- Cross-Border Capabilities: Proven ability to manage operations, teams, or vendors remotely. Prior exposure to the GCC/UAE market is a massive plus but not mandatory if you have strong operational foundations.
- Contract & Negotiation Skills: Sharp commercial acumen with a proven track record in vendor onboarding, SLA creation, and contract negotiation.
- Analytical Mindset: Highly proficient in using data tools (Google Sheets, Excel, BI tools) to track operational metrics, diagnose bottlenecks, and forecast demand.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate with international business partners and vendors.
- Cultural Fit: Self-starter who thrives in an unstructured, high-growth startup environment and can work independently without daily hand-holding.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
