We are looking for a skilled Experienced Candidate in IT Networking & Cabling Technician with hands-on experience in IT networking, LAN setup, FOC (Fiber Optic Cable) installation, cable laying, and passive cabling. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Perform Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Execute cable laying activities for network and communication systems.
- Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling systems (Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optic, etc.).
- Carry out passive networking activities, including patch panel installation, rack dressing, and cable management.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform corrective actions.
- Install and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, access points, and related hardware.
- Conduct network testing and documentation of installed infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and safety procedures during installation activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project execution.
- Maintain records of network assets, cabling layouts, and maintenance activities.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in IT Networking and LAN implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) installation and testing.
- Experience in cable laying and structured cabling projects.
- Knowledge of passive networking components, patch panels, racks, and cable management.
- Understanding of network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Ability to read network diagrams and cabling layouts.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for network and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with network testing tools and cable testers.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant networking certifications (CCNA, Network+, Fiber Optic Certification) will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
