Position: Physics Teacher
Role Summary:
The Physics Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of physics concepts, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills. The teacher will create a positive learning environment and ensure academic excellence in accordance with the school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Physics lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Use innovative teaching methods, practical demonstrations, and laboratory activities to enhance learning.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
- Prepare students for school examinations, board examinations, and competitive exams where applicable.
- Foster scientific curiosity, analytical thinking, and research skills among students.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety of laboratory equipment and resources.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Support the school's vision, mission, and educational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physics.
- B.Ed. degree (preferred/mandatory as per school norms).
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching tools.
