We are looking for a passionate and experienced Fashion Design Faculty member to join our growing academic team at our Vashi campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom sessions in Fashion Design.
- Teach subjects such as Fashion Illustration, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Textile Studies, Fashion History, Design Process, and Portfolio Development.
- Guide students through practical projects, assignments, and industry-based learning.
- Mentor students in developing creativity, technical skills, and professional portfolios.
- Evaluate assignments, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, design technologies, and industry practices.
- Participate in academic planning, workshops, exhibitions, fashion shows, and institute events.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Fashion Design from a recognized institute/university.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching and/or industry experience in Fashion Design.
- Strong knowledge of fashion design principles, garment construction, textiles, and fashion illustration.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or similar design tools will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of designers.
