Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser for Women’s Ethnic Wear garments. The candidate will assist in order coordination, buyer communication, production follow-up, sampling, fabric & accessories coordination, and overall merchandising activities to ensure timely execution of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with buyers, production team, and vendors for smooth order execution.
- Assist in handling sampling, approvals, and development activities.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, embroidery, printing, and accessories status.
- Maintain order sheets, T&A (Time & Action) calendar, and merchandising records.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Coordinate with quality and production departments for order completion.
- Prepare costing sheets, order details, and product specifications as required.
- Maintain proper documentation related to orders, approvals, dispatch, and inventory.
- Assist senior merchandiser in day-to-day merchandising operations.
- Ensure product quality and buyer requirements are properly followed.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments regarding order updates.
- Support in market research and trend updates related to women’s ethnic wear.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of garment merchandising process.
- Understanding of women’s ethnic wear products such as Kurtis, Co-ord Sets, Dresses, Gowns, etc.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, printing, and embroidery.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Qualification:
- Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile, Apparel, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in garment merchandising.
Preference:
- Candidates from Surat location and garment/textile background will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
