Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads.
- Monitor financial performance and present reports to leadership and the board. *
Financial Management & Compliance
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accounting standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Implement robust internal controls and financial safeguards.
- Grant Management & Donor Reporting
- Manage financial aspects of grants and donor contracts.
- Coordinate with program teams for accurate and timely donor reporting.
Financial Sustainability & Growth
- Develop strategies for long-term financial sustainability and revenue diversification.
- Team Leadership & Lead and mentor the finance team
- Build a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience as Director or senior finance leader in the nonprofit sector.
- Expertise in nonprofit financial management, including fund accounting and grant compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High integrity and commitment to transparency and accountability.
Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
