Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for preparation of inspection reports as per daily dispatch plan and ensure proper record maintenance and traceability.
2. Perform lot inspection as per dispatch requirement and ensure inspection status identification.
3. Update Control Plans, inspection standards, quality procedures and process documents related to internal & external complaints under guidance of QA Manager.
4. Ensure internal coherence and document control compliance for audit readiness.
5. Verify functionality and basic accuracy of QA machines after preventive maintenance before releasing for use.
6. Take overall responsibility for monitoring in-process and final product quality and report deviations to management.
7. Maintain PPM performance data and support achievement of customer quality targets
8. Maintain Calibration Calendar and records for in-house gauges and coordinate with external labs to ensure validity of instruments.
9. Prepare, conduct and maintain records of Measuring System Analysis (MSA) as per plan – GR&R, Linearity, Bias and Attribute studies.
10. Prepare and maintain PPAP-related quality documents including MSA records, inspection reports and checking aids validation.
11. Document inspection results, maintain traceability records and support root cause analysis for identified defects.
12. Review daily machine maintenance check sheets and highlight abnormalities to Production / Maintenance teams.
13. Participate in daily QA meetings and share inspection findings, rejection trends and quality performance data.
14. Implement Kaizen initiatives and maintain 5S & standardization within QA and inspection areas.
15. Support Quality department skill evaluation and training coordination as per competency plan
16. Assist QA Manager during internal, external and customer audits by providing required documents, records and objective evidences as per ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949.
17. Ensure processes required for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained in daily activities.
18. Participate in supplier audits and conduct supplier quality evaluations as assigned; follow up on corrective actions.
Authorities:
1. Finalize the Inspection reports as per the daily dispatch& also to verify by authorized persons or equivalent person check/ verify signature is must.
2. Can stop the machine or process immediately if defects, abnormal variation, safety risks, or specification deviations are observed.
3. Can recommend and initiate hold on dispatch if final inspection results are not meeting specification or documentation is incomplete (final release as per approval hierarchy).
4. Can segregate and label rejected material, initiate rejection reports, and ensure containment before disposition decision
5. Can stop usage of gauges, instruments, or QA machines if calibration validity is expired or measurement accuracy is doubtful.
6. Can escalate major quality issues, repeated defects, supplier non-performance, or audit non-conformities to QA Manager / Plant Head for corrective action.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
