Reporting To: Director / Head of ProjectsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to manage interior design and execution projects from initial planning through final handover. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, vendors and site teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and according to the approved design and quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end interior design and execution projects for residential, commercial, retail, hospitality or office spaces.
- Understand project scope, client requirements, approved designs, material specifications and execution timelines.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, work plans, budgets and procurement timelines.
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, civil contractors, MEP consultants, vendors and site supervisors.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure that all work is carried out according to approved drawings, BOQs, specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and project review meetings with internal teams, clients and contractors.
- Track project costs, purchase orders, material deliveries, labour requirements and variations.
- Identify project risks, delays and quality issues, and take timely corrective action.
- Review shop drawings, construction drawings, material samples and method statements before execution.
- Coordinate civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, false ceiling, flooring, painting, furniture and other interior works.
- Ensure proper sequencing of activities and effective coordination between different contractors and trades.
- Manage client communication, provide regular progress updates and resolve project-related concerns professionally.
- Verify measurements, work completion, snag lists and contractor bills before approval.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain proper site documentation.
- Conduct final inspection, coordinate rectification work and complete project handover within the agreed timeline.
- Maintain project reports, meeting minutes, work schedules, material trackers and completion records.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in interior design project management, fit-outs or construction execution.
- Experience in managing multiple interior projects simultaneously will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of interior execution, materials, finishes, BOQ, estimation and site coordination.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and project scheduling or management tools. Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, SketchUp or similar software is desirable.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, civil, electrical and MEP drawings.
- Experience in coordinating contractors, vendors, site teams and client representatives.
- Strong negotiation, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, furniture, hardware, lighting, flooring, wall finishes and MEP services.
- Practical knowledge of project costing, procurement and contract management.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
- Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate site and execution teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.
