We are an established IT software solutions firm looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR). In this role, there are absolutely NO sales closing targets. You will not be asked to close deals, negotiate prices, or hit revenue quotas. Your sole focus is building initial rapport, qualifying interest, and keeping our pipeline warm.
Role Overview:
As a BDR, you will be the voice of our company. You will handle inbound leads and follow up with past inquiries. Your job is to make the initial connection, understand if the prospect has a genuine requirement, handle basic process follow-ups (e.g., checking project readiness), and smoothly hand over qualified, high-intent clients to our Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to newly assigned IT leads and our existing past lead database.
Lead Qualification: Ask pre-defined questions to filter serious business owners from casual inquiries.
Basic Process Follow-ups: Maintain consistent touchpoints with past leads to check their project timelines (e.g., "Are you ready to initiate your project this month?").
Warm Hand-off: Seamlessly transfer high-intent prospects or book calendar meetings for the Sales Director when a lead is ready to move forward.
Data Integrity: Accurately update call dispositions and notes in our centralized system after every interaction.
What You Will NOT Be Doing:
You will NOT be responsible for closing deals or hitting revenue numbers.
You will NOT handle complex technical scoping, pricing negotiations, or objections. The moment a client asks a deep technical question, you will transition them to the Director.
Requirements:
Education & Experience: Graduate in any stream. 1+ years of experience in tele-calling, inside sales, customer success, or international BPO processes is preferred (IT/Software sector experience is a major plus).
Communication: Excellent, near-native English speaking and listening skills are mandatory. You must be able to converse confidently and professionally with both domestic and international corporate clients.
Work Ethic: High discipline, strong organizational skills, and absolute professional integrity.
