- Lead the development and execution of an India-for-India and India-for-Global Supply Chain Strategy, building a resilient, compliant, and competitive supplier ecosystem that supports business growth, localization, cost optimization, and supply continuity.
- Define and deploy strategic sourcing and commodity management strategies across Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, and Indirect categories , aligned with business, operational, and growth objectives.
- Drive supplier development, localization, and supply base expansion across metals, fabrication, machining, plastics, electronics, PCBA, wire harnesses, electromechanical, liquid cooling, data solutions, and indirect services .
- Establish sourcing strategies that meet BIS, NDAA, ESG, and US-compliant supply chain requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance and long-term business sustainability.
- Lead supplier strategy through alternate source development, capacity expansion, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory optimization, and working capital enhancement using should-cost analysis, TCO modelling, strategic negotiations, and contract governance.
- Provide end-to-end leadership for Direct and Indirect Procurement across two manufacturing facilities and three India offices , including CAPEX, facilities, services, and supplier performance management.
- Serve as the Supply Chain PMO for localization , transfer, and growth projects, ensuring successful supplier selection, qualification, NPD execution, APQP, PPAP, ramp-up, and operational readiness.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Product Compliance, Finance, and Program Management teams to drive supplier quality, value engineering, risk mitigation, and business continuity initiatives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sourcing organization comprising Supply Leads, Supply Engineers, and Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and talent development.
- Build strong partnerships with global category teams, regional stakeholders, and strategic suppliers while driving performance through KPIs, supplier scorecards, executive governance reviews, and procurement transformation initiatives .
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering , or related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent.
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Development, or Commodity Management within manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience managing Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, and/or Indirect categories in Enclosures, Data Solutions, Power and Engineering Industries.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations and global supply chains.
- Demonstrated success in localization, cost reduction, supplier development, and contract negotiations.
- Prior people-management experience leading sourcing or commodity teams.
