We are looking for a skilled and responsible Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesiologists and healthcare teams in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment during surgical and medical procedures. The candidate should ensure patient safety, maintain operation theatre standards, and support smooth anaesthesia services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain anaesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment before procedures
- Assist anesthesiologists during surgeries and emergency procedures
- Check oxygen supply, suction apparatus, and anesthesia drugs before operations
- Sterilize and arrange anesthesia instruments and equipment
- Monitor and replace anesthesia supplies as required
- Ensure operation theatre equipment is functioning properly
- Follow hospital infection control and safety protocols
- Provide emergency support during critical situations and CPR if required
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Anesthesia Technology / Operation Theatre Technology
- Certification in BLS/ACLS is an added advantage
- Previous hospital or OT experience preferred
- Minimum 1-2 yr experience required
