Job Summary
Sareen Sports Industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities, vendor management, and inventory planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement to support production and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities accordingly.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyze market trends and sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain procurement records and reports.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing or sports goods industry is preferred.
