Key Responsibilities & Expertise Required
Design & Development
- Structural and sheet-metal fabrication with proper design calculations
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical calculations
- Conveyor design experience including:
- Chain pull calculations
- Load calculations
- Automated material handling & storage system design
- Concept designing and full/partial product development
- Preparation of accurate BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Drafting detailed 2D drawings and 3D models
- Troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with Manufacturing, Electrical, Software teams, and project personnel
- Ensure deliverables meet timelines and technical requirements
- Support prototype development, product testing, verification, and validation
Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Analyse feasibility of workplace improvements & change management initiatives
- Conduct research for green initiatives, energy-efficient solutions & product innovations
- Implement approved green design processes
- Review design drawings for practicality and design efficiency
Team & Project Management:
- Manage and mentor a small team of design engineers
- Develop resource planning strategies
- Coordinate mechanical & electrical testing for prototypes
- Evaluate potential IP (intellectual property) infringements following company procedures
- Use data analytics to establish and validate design-related hypotheses
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
