Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and motivated Solar Technicians to join our growing renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, and associated electrical equipment.
- Perform site surveys and assist in system layout and installation planning.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive inspections of solar power systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, electrical issues, and performance problems.
- Ensure proper wiring, grounding, and connection of solar equipment in accordance with industry standards.
- Monitor system performance and recommend corrective actions when required.
- Maintain accurate installation and service records.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and customers during installation and maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical installations.
- Understanding of electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to use electrical testing and measuring instruments.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in solar panel installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of inverters, batteries, net metering, and rooftop solar systems.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may apply.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in solar installation and maintenance will be preferred.
