As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance application performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, backup and recovery techniques, and performance tuning specific to Oracle Applications.
- Experience in managing application lifecycle including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting within Oracle environments.
- Ability to work with APIs and integration tools to support seamless connectivity between packaged applications and other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline routine database administration tasks.
- Capability to monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and data loss.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
