Role Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for controlling all active construction/interior projects from planning to handover. This person acts as the main link between the Managing Partner, site engineers, contractors, purchase team, QS, design team, accounts, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily progress of all assigned projects.
- Prepare and monitor weekly project schedules.
- Coordinate site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and labour teams.
- Ensure materials are planned and requested on time.
- Track project cost, progress, billing, delays, and quality.
- Review daily site reports and escalate only important issues.
- Conduct weekly project meetings and assign action points.
- Coordinate with QS for BOQ, budget, variation, and billing updates.
- Coordinate with purchase team for material availability and delivery.
- Communicate with clients for project updates and pending approvals.
- Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify delays early and prepare recovery plans.
- Maintain the Project Control Sheet for every project.
- Submit a weekly dashboard report to the Managing Partner.
- Ensure smooth handover, snag closure, and final project review.
Required Skills
- Strong construction site management knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Good planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of drawings, BOQ, materials, labour, and contractor management.
- Good communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to control cost, time, quality, and cash-flow issues.
Experience Required
- 2+ years of experience in construction, interiors, or building project execution.
- Prior experience managing site engineers, contractors, and vendors preferred.

- Projects completed on time.
- Projects completed within budget.
- Timely material planning and procurement coordination.
- Quality issues reduced.
- Client complaints reduced.
- Weekly reports submitted on time.
- Site delays identified and resolved early.
- Billing and variation updates coordinated properly.
Reporting System
The Project Manager must submit a weekly report covering:
- Project progress
- Budget vs actual cost
- Billing and receivables
- Delays and reasons
- Material requirements
- Client approvals pending
- Site issues
- Decisions required from management
Main Objective
To reduce the Managing Partner’s daily site involvement and ensure every APAK BUILDERS project is controlled professionally through proper planning, reporting, coordination, cost control, and quality management.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
