Job Title : Global HSSE Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage global HSSE operations across multiple technology and operational locations.
- Develop and implement HSSE strategies, governance frameworks, and annual improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, environmental, and sustainability standards.
- Drive process safety initiatives, risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID reviews, and incident prevention programs.
- Provide strategic leadership for operational safety, laboratory safety, and facility risk management.
- Monitor HSSE performance metrics, governance reviews, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Lead investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives for HSSE performance.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, and psychological safety across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to strengthen operational excellence and risk management practices.
- Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets related to HSSE operations and facility improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, certifications, licenses, and industry best practices.
- Support business continuity, emergency response planning, and crisis management initiatives.
- Mentor and develop HSSE teams while driving capability building and succession planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional and global stakeholders to deliver safe and sustainable operations.
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Formal HSSE qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong expertise in HSSE management, process safety, and operational risk management.
- Knowledge of HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessment, incident management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing laboratory, operational, or industrial safety environments.
- Strong understanding of legal compliance, governance, and sustainability standards.
- Experience in leading multicultural and cross-functional global teams.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and safety culture transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with focus on operational excellence.
- Familiarity with HSSE auditing, OMS frameworks, and risk-based decision-making practices.
